Jerez de la Frontera, 11 February 2010 – The second day of testing in Jerez began with a cloudy sky but without rain. The weather forecast doesn’t foresee any rain for today, but also yesterday the teams thought that the rain might stop in the afternoon, but it went on until the end of the day.
Fernando Alonso went onto the track for the installation lap at 9am in the F10. His programme for today is very simple: driving many kilometres to gain more confidence with the single-seater and the new tyres, which are challenged more on this track here than on the one last week in Valencia.
There are still ten teams on the track, with two changes as far as the drivers are concerned: Schumacher took Rosberg’s seat in the Mercedes and Kubica the one of Petrov behind the wheel of the Renault.
