Baguette added to Sauber test line-up

Bertrand Baguette will test for his second Formula 1 team in three days after announcing he will drive for Sauber at Jerez on Thursday.

The 23-year-old Belgian had his first run in an F1 car with Renault on Tuesday as his prize for winning the Formula Renault 3.5 title this year.

He is delighted to have secured an opportunity to gain more track time with the Swiss squad.

"I am very happy to be able to drive for Sauber," Baguette told AUTOSPORT. "It will be a second day for me - and it's always good to get two days of testing instead of one.

"It will be very interesting to compare the differences between the two teams and the two cars."

Baguette completed 105 laps on the opening day with Renault, setting the ninth fastest time. Sauber, which has yet to officially announce Baguette's appearance, has run American Alexander Rossi and Mexican Esteban Gutierrez so far.
