Wurz not interested in F1 return

Alex Wurz says he has no interest in returning to Formula 1, despite being linked with a US F1 drive during the winter.

The 35-year-old last raced in F1 in 2007 and is now a factory sportscar driver with Peugeot, scoring his second Le Mans 24 Hours victory last year.

Early in 2009 he was involved in the Superfund F1 project, which was not granted an entry by the FIA, and speculation has since linked the Austrian with US F1.
But Wurz says he has left F1 behind and has no desire to make a comeback.

When asked about an F1 return at AUTOSPORT International on Saturday, he said: "No. I've changed from the show business to the real business.

"Just look at the Peugeot or the Bentley [on display] here. Since my childhood I always loved sportscars. After 13 years of F1, I'm very happy to be with Peugeot, going to Sebring and hopefully some other races as well as Le Mans."
